About

Angeline Collier studied Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Dallas. She’s held many commercial art positions over the years from Graphic Artist to Art Director, in both Dallas and Denver. In 2004 she set out on her own as Halo Creative, which she still operates today, designing print and web collateral for clients. In recent years, she’s been focusing more on fine art with the goal of advancing this area of her career.  Her current focus is acrylic painting.

Angeline was active in the South Plains art community from 2007-2017, while based in Post, TX.  During that time she was a co-owner at Mesquite Queen Art Gallery, as well as a featured artist at J Childs Gallery artist co-op. In four consecutive years (2014-2017), she was chosen to participate in the annual Sit-A-Spell promotion held by the Caprock Cultural Association of Post. This is an invitational event for 12 area artists to paint a sponsored Adirondack chair which is then on display for a month along the main street of town.

Angeline additionally served for two years as the Post Art Guild President.  This included managing the annual art show and leading community art classes for youth and adults. In 2017, she relocated to Frisco, TX.  She has since embraced the local art community as a member of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco (VAGF) and the Visual Arts League of Allen, while participating in a variety of area shows and events.

Angeline has won numerous art show awards across the South Plains area of Texas, New Mexico, and the Frisco area.
Select awards include:

Angeline’s goal is to continue to grow as an artist, support the artists around her, and be more involved in the Frisco and neighboring art communities.
